Cint is no longer supporting OpinonAPP and will shut down access to the app on 17 April 2024. 

We understand that mobile access to surveys is a popular channel for panelists. Going forward, panelists must log directly into the mobile friendly, browser-based Panelist Portal associated with Triaba using existing credentials. 

PayPal - redemption link via Tremendous

Incentive payments made directly to panelists’ PayPal accounts from Cint.  

After a panelist initiates an incentive payment request, they will now receive a redemption link via Tremendous. Panelists will use this link to complete their PayPal request on the Tremendous platform. 

Cint will now be absorbing the PayPal fees on behalf panelists which requires us to  adjust the minimum amount required before a payout can be requested. For example in USD, the PayPal threshold will increase from $10.00 USD to $12.50 USD. The increase will vary depending on the country/currency. 

We are currently implementing this change on a country-by-country basis and expect the change to be complete across all regions by the end of February.  

New Payment Options - Tremendous Partnership

Cint write that "We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Tremendous, making them our preferred provider of gift vouchers and virtual visa cards for our hosted panels.

Over the next few weeks, we will be integrating Tremendous into our platform.

Note: Monetary options such as PayPal, Venmo, and ACH will not be available.

Will this impact other reward options?

Yes, due to our partnership, we will discontinue some of our existing reward offerings. This will only occur if Tremendous can fulfil all reward requirements in a particular market. However, if a popular reward option is not available in the Tremendous catalogue (e.g., Trisslotto), we will retain it alongside Tremendous. Our approach will be reviewed on a country-by-country basis.

Planned Rollout Phase 1

The following countries will have Tremendous added to hosted panels over the next week. Our goal is to improve the selection of brands, simplify the user experience, and ensure the prompt delivery of gift vouchers.

How does the VISA option work?

Recipients can opt for a VISA reward, which can be used anywhere VISA is accepted. For recipients in the USA, a physical VISA card can also be requested if preferred. Virtual VISA is issued in USD only and is spendable in over 211 countries worldwide.

Note: VISA rewards are single-issue and cannot be reloaded or combined. Any unused balance will not be refunded.

How long is a Tremendous reward valid?

The links we provide for Tremendous rewards remain valid for 5 years. Recipients can also revisit the link at any time to redeem or review previously claimed rewards. The validity period for the actual gift card selected will vary by retailer. Full information on gift card expiry is clearly communicated to the user.

Will there be any changes to PayPal?

Cint will continue to manage PayPal transactions for the time being. Any potential changes to this arrangement will be communicated as we further collaborate with Tremendous.

If the panel is in a different currency than the native countries (For example: India can be in GBP or USD) the currency will automatically convert to INR in Tremendous!"
